Creating New, Bold Digital Experiences for Customers

Taco-fans can look forward to shorter queue times and a more hassle-free ordering system with new technology-forward digital integration that is sure to pass the ‘vibe-check’.

First up, self-service kiosks will soon be available at select locations to meet customer demand for more contemporary experiences and take ordering in their own hands. The seamless kiosk interface allows customers to order completely digitally and easily customise certain items on the menu to their preferences while still having an in-person experience at Taco Bell restaurants.

It doesn’t stop there – Taco Bell Malaysia will also be rolling out an online ordering platform accessible via multiple digital touch points including WebApp, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Finally, get excited because several Taco Bell drive-thrus are in the works to be rolled out later this year to create a convenient and memorable experience for customers on-the-go.

Sean Tresvant, Global Chief Brand and Strategy Officer, visited the Malaysia market recently and shared that “the international market has always been a big opportunity for Taco Bell, and we are so proud of the expansion and growth in Malaysia. Malaysian consumers are fast embracing Taco Bell for its distinctive offerings, making the country a star performer in the region. In the coming year, digitalisation and product innovation will be a big part of our brand plans.”

Ankush Tuli, Managing Director of Taco Bell International, was also excited about his visit to the outlets in Malaysia and added that “the Malaysian consumer is seeking contemporary food experiences and Taco Bell is the place to be for all Malaysians who are pushing the boundaries of creativity to add their unique flavor to the local culture. Our food fuels that creative spirit and that’s what we call LIVE MAS!
