If you’ve never seen or been on this pink minibus, from the 1st September 2019 onwards you will get your chance to experience it. The minibus is able to carry 31 passengers per vehicle while the modern buses are able to carry 64 passengers. In case you’re wondering, this minibus was operating from 1975 until 1998. Moreover, during that period the pink minibusses will be packed with passengers since it was the cheapest form of transportation.

During the trial period, the pink minibus will run at a frequency of 15 minutes (peak hours) and 25 minutes (non-peak hours) per trip from 5:30 am to 11:40 pm. Besides that, the bus will travel on Route T300, which is from Bukit Indah hub to Ampang Point, via Jalan Rasmi. Three pink minibusses will be operating during this trial period so you won’t be able to miss your chance to ride on the bus.

This minibus could be a permanent aspect for this route if there is enough positive feedback from the passengers. There’s a chance that Rapid KL will expand the route for this pink minibus as well. So after experiencing the minibus, do leave your feedback by contacting the Rapid KL Helpline at 03-7885 2585 or send an email to suggest@rapidkl.com.my
