Tobu Sake Bar Is Where You Go For A Gorgeous Japanese Experience

Tucked away in Damansara Uptown is Tobu Sake Bar, recently opened just last year. Upon entry, we were greeted by a torii, aka traditional Japanese gate. The atmosphere instantly brought us to, well, Japan! As we walked in, there were mini torii decorations covering one side of the wall where customers have doodled on while sake bottles lined the top.

Their menu is extensive, focusing on yakitori selections albeit non-traditional items such as Japanese-inspired pastas were also available. Here’s what we tried:

Among the options are:

  • Chives w/ pork belly cheese
  • Lettuce w Bacon
  • Enoki Wrap w Pork Belly
  • Eryngii with Pork Belly
  • Cherry Tomatoes w Pork Belly
  • Shitake w Chicken Minced
  • Tiger Prawn w Pork Belly
