3. Ruby Restaurant 芝麻糊大王

This Tong Shui place sings their own praises, which is evident through the name of the shop In Chinese, meaning “The king of Black Sesame Paste”. It’s true that Ruby Restaurant is really confident in their store’s offerings, but they’re not exaggerating at all: It is now a fourth-generation business which has been lingering in the KL desserts scene for more than 100 years! The aptly named Ruby Restaurant surely lived up to its name, whipping up a lovely rendition of Chinese desserts.
