Train & Bus Services Under Prasarana Will Operate As Usual
According to Bernama, all train and bus services under Prasarana Malaysia Berhad will operate as usual despite the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Trains and bus services will continue to run throughout the entire CMCO period, from October 14th till October 27th, 2020.
Disinfection & Cleaning Operations Will Continue
The Prasarana Media Affairs Head, Azhar Ghazali also mentions that the number of commuters remained as usual, especially during the peak hours between 6am and 9am. He said in a statement, “The main factor is because the economic sector is still allowed to open and that some companies have yet to fully implement working from home.” He also added that the train operating hours remains as usual from 6am to 12am during the CMCO period.
He also advises commuters to practice social distancing since the trains are operating at full capacity. In addition, he also urges the public to download the MySejahtera app to check-in and adhere to the existing SOP. He also said that disinfection and cleaning operations will continue at stations and in trains.
