Enjoy Affordable RM 2 Connecting Van Rides To & From LRT/MRT Stations 

With traffic jams only getting worse and the high expenses of maintaining a car increasing by the day, it comes as no surprise that more working adults are presently favouring public transportation.

However, it may sometimes be difficult for commuters to reach certain LRT and MRT stations as it may be far away from their homes. Many commuters would still have to drive and park at the station or use e-hailing services to head there, which could be quite tedious and time-consuming.

Addressing these concerns, Rapid KL has recently unveiled their collaboration with Trek Rides to offer convenient RM 2 van rides that can connect commuters to and from LRT and MRT stations. Priced at only RM 2, it will be a more affordable alternative for daily travel as well. 

As an On-Demand Responsive Transit (DRT) that takes commuters on a hassle-free journey to and from selected LRT, MRT and bus terminals, it is set to make waves at these 15 stations across the Klang Valley: 

  • LRT Bandar Puteri
  • LRT Taman Perindustrian Puchong
  • LRT IOI Puchong Jaya
  • LRT Bandar Kinrara 5
  • LRT Universiti 
  • LRT Kerinchi 
  • LRT Pandan Jaya
  • LRT Pandan Indah
  • LRT Cempaka
  • LRT Cahaya
  • LRT Setiawangsa 
  • LRT Jelatek
  • LRT Ampang
  • MRT Cochrane
  • MRT UPM

Adding to the delight, there’s even a 50% discount for Universiti Malaya students that stay in Bangsar South, making each van ride only RM 1! 

This initiative is now available within four zones. These zones comprise of: Ampang, Puchong, Hulu Kelang and UPM-Serdang.

Commuters are also encouraged to download the Trek App for easier tracking means of ride schedules and updates.   

All in all, this initiative makes commuting more accessible and affordable for commuters that live in the Klang Valley.
