When it comes to McDonald’s burgers, we all have our favourites, especially the classics. So when we heard that McDonald’s Malaysia made some changes to its beef burgers, we knew we had to try them! Read on below to find out the differences and why many swear that these burgers are hotter, juicier and tastier!
Reimagining The Classics
McDonald’s 100% pure Halal beef patties, which are imported from Australia, New Zealand and Brazil, are now cooked in smaller batches with onions added at the grill for more flavour. Just another reason why they’re mouthwatering perfection!
Double Cheeseburger
The NEW Double Cheeseburger is visibly thicker with a glazed bun that almost looked too nice to eat! The glazed buns are softer and toasted until the surfaces are light golden brown. On the inside, the new recipe calls for the onions to be added directly to the patties on the grill. This is to impart more flavour onto the patties. Not to mention, the New Zealand imported cheese slices gave the meltier sensation they promised! #BeefPerfection!
Spicy Double Beef With Cheese
If you have always enjoyed the spicy twist on the Double Cheeseburger, the “new” Spicy Double Beef with Cheese is smothered in spicy tomato sauce that packs a punch. What’s new? Beef patties are seasoned, grilled, and seared to perfection in smaller batches to retain the juiciness, giving you an exceptional burger that’s undoubtedly a real deal.
Big Mac
For Big Mac loyalists, the new Big Mac will not disappoint. Now, you will get MORE Big Mac sauce on your Big Mac, giving that extra flavour boost! Not only that, the caramelised onion with crispy dill pickles and relish just hit all the right notes and is nothing but delicious.
Our verdict? These “new” beef burgers are definitely hotter, juicier and tastier!
McDonald’s Sets Record for Highest Sales of Improved Beef Burgers In 24 Hours
McDonald’s Malaysia has achieved yet another milestone by setting a Malaysia Book of Records for ‘The Most Beef Burgers Sold In 24 Hours’. This feat was officially recognised when McDonald’s Malaysia successfully sold over 200,000 beef burgers on the 15th of October 2022 in conjunction with the quick service restaurant’s unveiling of its elevated and improved line-up of classic beef burgers.
