Stammtisch
We recently stopped by the newly-opened Stammtisch, a German restaurant originally from Bukit Damansara, to try their Christmas and NYE Roasted Smorgasbord platter. The interior itself brought us much joy, as it resembles an actual German tavern along with festive decorations this season.
The Roasted Smorgasbord serves up to 5 pax, and features a Porchetta Loaf that’s stuffed with apple, cranberry, walnuts and mixed herbs. The crunch of the crackling skin absolutely hits the spot, concealing moist and tender pork meat.
Together with the platter, you’ll also get Langos, Spaetzle, Sausage Trio, Bavarian Soup, Yuletide Salad, Grilled Halibut, Creamed Spinach, Roasted Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables.
If you’re seeking a larger platter with a bit more oomph, then the Ensemble Platter is the one for you. Serving up to 6 pax, it comes with a massive Pork Knuckle that’s crispy on the outside whilst preserving its juicy meat on the inside. There are also 3 types of sausages, Schweine Schnitzel, Sauerkraut, stewed vegetables, trio salad, pan-fried potatoes and Spaetzle.
