Here’s How To Make Your All-Time Favourite Ramadan & Raya Dishes With Ayam Brand™

1. Pucuk Paku Masak Lemak

Ingredients:

  • Ayam Brand™ Masak Lemak Paste 180g
  • Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk 400ml
  • Prawns, 300g
  • Pucuk Paku (Fiddlehead Fern), 300g
  • Water 400ml
  • Lemongrass, 3 stalks, crushed
  • Turmeric Leaves, 3 pcs, thinly sliced
  • Extra turmeric leaves for garnish

Steps:

  1. In a pot, start by combining water, Masak Lemak Paste, and crushed lemongrass.

2. Toss in the prawns and bring everything to a gentle boil. Then, cover it up and let it simmer until the prawns are halfway cooked.

3. Next, add in pucuk paku and Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk, and don’t forget to stir in some thinly sliced turmeric leaves for that extra flavour.

4. Cook until the sauce thickens. And just before serving, give it a lovely garnish with some extra turmeric leaves.

2. Daging Masak Merah

Ingredients:

  • Sirloin Meat, 300g, sliced
  • Ayam Brand™ Masak Merah Paste 180g
  • Water 75ml
  • Red onion, 2 pcs, cut into rings
  • 1 yellow capsicum, diced
  • Ayam Brand™ Garden Peas for garnish

Steps:

  1. Heat oil in a wok and cook the sliced meat until it’s just right, somewhere between medium and well done. Once done, set it aside.

2. In the same wok, sauté the onions and capsicum until they’re beautifully fragrant and tender.

3. Then, add Masak Merah Paste and mix everything until it’s nicely coated.

4. Bring back the cooked meat into the wok and let it simmer gently in that flavourful sauce.

5. Garnish with some Ayam Brand™ Garden Peas on top for that final touch. Enjoy!

3. Chicken Kurma

Ingredients:

  • Ayam Brand™ Kurma Paste 180g
  • Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk 60ml
  • Medium-sized potatoes, 80g, diced
  • Carrots, 80g diced
  • Red onion, 80g, large cuts
  • Chicken, 300g, thighs and breast
  • Water 200ml
  • Red chilli and coriander leaves for garnish

Steps:

  1. In a pan, sauté Kurma Paste with potatoes, carrots, and chicken until medium-well.

2. Then, add some water, cover it up, and let it simmer gently until the chicken and vegetables are cooked through and bursting with flavour.

3. Stir in some red onion and Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk, and let it all come to a gentle boil.

4. Finish it off with some sliced red chilli and coriander leaves, and ready to serve!
