Tiffin At The Yard is back! Only this time, they’re here to stay permanently, at Sentul Depot! In case you’ve been living under a rock, they’re an artisanal food playground and event space that used to be an annual pop-up. Amidst a brilliant selection of rotating vendors, we’re highlighting 5 vegan stalls for you to try this November since it’s World Vegan Month! We know what you’re thinking, vegan? Well, prepare to be mind-blown! These amazing dishes will have you questioning your tastebuds, just in case you’re a sceptic.
5 Popular Vegan Stalls at Tiffin @ The Yard to Visit
1. Sala KL
This Latin-fusion tex-mex vegan restaurant was created by Fauzi Hussein who prides his meals in being healthier alternatives to popular classics. His outlets are all around KL but in November, you can find Sala at Tiffin @ The Yard! Coupled with High Fibre Chick’n and Phuture Foods, they’re aiming to bring you a whole new vegan chicken experience!
Operating hours: 5pm – 12am (Thursday); 10am – 12am (Saturday)
2. Con-fusion Club
Chef Idan’s no stranger to the KL culinary scene. Following the success of Hijau Kuala Lumpur (at Thursdvys Café), he is currently a pro in introducing scrumptious vegan food for all. As a result, he has produced a Thai, plant-based “club” at Tiffin to promote a healthy lifestyle! Try their Thai chicken burger or Tom Yum Chick’n Ramen along with their vegan coconut dessert.
Operating hours: 4pm – 11pm (Friday & Saturday)
3. Bagelicious by Nai
Hand-rolled bagels and sandwiches, anyone? It’s totally vegan and 100% halal! This bagel business is typically a pre-order delivery service but they’re going vegan at Tiffin in November. Not to mention, they’re collaborating with Mushroom Lah to bring you special rendang bagels! To illustrate, we’re talking fresh, soft bagel buns.

Operating hours: 10am – 4pm (Sunday)
4. Mushroom Lah
Who doesn’t love a good, non-crispy rendang? As a matter of fact, it can be made with mushrooms too! Mushroom Lah is serving up 3 main dishes; nasi lemak, bagels and curly fries all topped with their signature mushroom rendang. It’s a mushroom revolution!
Operating hours: 10am – 5pm (Sunday)
5. Herbivore by Sandra Zuluaga
Last but not least, fans of hot dogs will particularly coo over this one! Herbivore is ran by Colombian chef Sandra Zuluaga, whose menu has diversified flavours. Not only is there a “hot dog bar” with fascinating fusion, but you can also grab a delicious vegan duck banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich)! In addition to that, you might get to say hi to her dogs! Like, her actual dogs.
Operating hours: 10am – 3pm (Saturday)
So, Which One Are You Looking Forward To?
Overall, this is a vegan concept between the 5 stalls called “Herbivore KL”. It was created to encourage a healthier lifestyle and promote climate change awareness. They take turns operating at the stall every weekend. Be sure to check their socials before heading over! Available only this November.
