ATAS restaurant is introducing a 6-course “dangerous” wine pairing night on 25th November and we guarantee this will score you brownie points with your lucky loved ones. Strap in for an exhilarating, “atas” experience!

A 6-Course Menu To Experience This Season

ATAS is a modern Malaysian eatery located on the mezzanine level of The RuMa Hotel & Residences. A grand staircase leads you up to pewter-tiled walls and dark wooden floors that ooze a modern yet rustic feel. This contemporary kitchen is spearheaded by Executive Chef Tyson Gee, with an aim to sail you through a culinary experience made from hand-picked local produce that’s integrated with authentic culture.

So, what exactly is happening on 25th November? Wine enthusiasts are gonna love this! ATAS is inviting you to join them for a wine-pairing night, with “The World’s Most Dangerous Wines” – Vin de Liban & de Syrie (French for Lebanese & Syrian wine)! Paired with the six-course meal, of course. After all, it is a steep RM 328+ per person!

To clarify, the menu will be available for an unknown amount of time, but the “dangerous” wine pairing is only available on 25th November evening.

As the menu is usually seasonal, here are the six (6) courses to expect for now:

1. Chicken and Waffles

Chicken liver parfait with waffle, accompanied by hazelnut sauce & watercress.

2. Stracciatella Cheese

Topped with pickled chayote, edamame, green chillies, macadamia nut and garlic flowers.

3. Smoked Ocean Trout

With granny smith apple & passion fruit bits, tapioca crackers and a touch of sour cream.

4. Charred Calamari

Atop a bed of black keladi risotto with four-angle bean.

5. Mains: Ikejime Seabass

Doused in fennel, kaffir lime and bubbly sauce Américaine.

Phew, that was quite the list wasn’t it! Without spoiling anything further, you’ll just have to experience the flavourful art of Vancouver-born Chef’s masterpiece yourself. Besides, when else will you sip on Lebanese and Syrian wine?

If the 6-course menu is far too hefty for you, they’ve just released their à la carte menu this month due to popular demand! You can also catch their “Movember Afternoon Tea” at RM 150+ per person.
