1. Wildflowers
Chinatown welcomes a new Asian fusion eatery – Wildflowers and it is operated by the same team behind Merchant’s Lane. The new space is absolute elegant with a hint of lush plants that create an ambience of peace and understated luxury in this restaurant.
Opt for Assam Unagi, Nori and Sushi Rice if you are unsure of where to start. But a must-try dish is definitely the Stewed Beef Brisket Bourguignon with Shao Xing – it’s that good, you’ll be licking the plate clean. Wines and handcrafted cocktails are also available here.

2. Flakes
Flakes is one of the newest cafes in Klang Valley. The highlight of the food here is definitely their signature croissant that features in many of their dishes. They are freshly baked with interesting flavours like Almond, Cinnamon, and Pistachio. Besides, they serve all-day breakfast, pasta, rice, coffee and even mocktails to beat the Malaysian heat! With a simple yet cosy setting, you’ll surely be satisfied with the vibe here as well as all its offerings.

3. Luckin Kopi
Operating in a 150-year building at Petaling Street, Luckin Kopi’s unique setting is perfect for any ‘gram They serve local cuisine with a twist and it is done perfectly. Some of the must-try dishes include Sambal Petai Pasta, Mee Siam, Indo Mee and Nasi Lemak. It’s worth mentioning that you can get even unlimited Luckin Kopi here, how cool is that!

4. JAR_Coffee
Look for a cute petrol pump entrance and you’ll find Jar Coffee. Jar Coffee is a new hidden cafe that serves various variety of mouth-watering fusion dishes. A must-try is their signature toast that topped with smoked salmon, smashed avocado and poached eggs. It’s truly a perfect combo! Just as the name suggests, you can also get perfectly brewed coffee right here. Pair your meal with a good coffee, this cozy cafe will help you get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a bit.

5. The Toast House
Originated from Taiwan, The Toast House is a new breakfast spot that serves really good toast. Their menu is simple but satisfying, featuring Charcoal Grilled Toast, Taiwanese Pancake, Taiwanese Burger and beverages. Don’t leave without trying the Jumbo Pork Sandwich. It comes with three layers of toasted bread stuffed with marinated pork slices, mashed potatoes, shredded cabbage and egg. Each bite is heavenly, you will definitely come back for more.

6. Me Melon
The famous kakigori brand from Thailand — Me Melon Dessert House has finally opened its first-ever outlet in KL. The dessert house boasts very Instagram-worthy Kakigoris with interesting flavours. Every kakigori is perfectly shaped, with flavoured syrup oozing down aesthetically but yet the Me Melon Kakigori is the best. Don’t leave without trying it! If shaved ice is not your cup of tea, you may opt for other desserts like Shibuya toasts, waffles and brownies.

7. Kings Hall by Cafe In A Box
If you are looking for a spot to relax and good coffee, Kings Hall by Cafe In A Box is the place to be. Here you can find beans from KL roasters like The Hub and Toothless Coffee to satisfy your caffeine cravings. Apart from coffee, you will also need to try out their popular Chicky Egg Sandwich that comes with a generous portion of scrambled egg and cheese on a waffle. Simple, but delicious!

8. Fat Bird Ramen
