3 Recommended Ways To Cook The Wagyu
With the starter kit, you get to choose which style of cooking you want with the different cuts of meat. First, you can have it cooked like your regular steak with the Steak cut. To get the best flavour, AAH Nippon recommends pan grilling each side with medium heat for 2 minutes, and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into it.
If you want to take it to the next level of flavour, the Japanese BBQ style called Yakiniku, is perfect. Simply take out the meat from the packet, dry it with a paper towel, and put it directly on the charcoal grill. To make the dish even better, dip the BBQ meat in some Japanese soya sauce for extra umami-ness.
Finally, hotpot lovers can use the tender wagyu shabu-shabu cut in their meal. Once you have your steamboat boiling, simply dip the beef slices into the broth and wait for around 10 seconds for a medium-cook, or longer depending on your preference.
