Air Selangor, the largest water operator in Malaysia, announced that there will be two disruption periods from 30 March – 9 April 2021. The first from 30 March – 1 April, is due to a pipe replacement near Carlsberg factory in Shah Alam. The second disruption from 6 April – 9 April, is due to a valve replacement along the pipeline from Klang Gates dam.

First period (30 March – 1 April)
The first period will affect 5 areas in Petaling region, 14 areas in Klang region, and 12 areas in Shah Alam region. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 9am, 1 April 2021.

The second period will affect 12 areas in Gombak region, and 46 areas in Kuala Lumpur region. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 5am, 9 April 2021.
