Creampuffsado, a local bakery based in Alor Setar, has certainly made the day of hundreds of frontliners working during this period of time. The bakery’s owner, Azrul Nizam Azali, donated a mass amount of bread to the town’s frontliners whom have been working tirelessly since the start of MCO. But what stood out from the rest, was Azrul’s kind attempt in personally writing kind words of encouragement on all the bread’s packaging!

Prior to this, Azrul had actually posted on his Facebook account on 1st April, asking netizens to comment what they wanted to say to frontliners. After collecting all the comments in two days, he then proceeded to write them down one by one onto packaging of his bakery’s breads. His intention was to make sure that all Malaysians were able to appreciate the sacrifices the fronliners are facing during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Azrul donated the breads to the Royal Malaysia Police, Malaysian Armed Forces, Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) and Alor Setar City Council. Even though it was a small gesture, we’re sure they’re still immensely grateful for the donations of food.
