Hello there foodies! When it comes to cafes, there are aplenty right here in KL. But, we need to ask you guys this, have you ever heard of a farm cafe? It’s essentially a cafe hidden in a farm, which means you’ll get access to only the freshest ingredients. Curious if such a thing exists in Malaysia? Well, the answer is a definite YES and it’s right here in Pahang. Deemed Amani Vanilla, this spot plants its own vanilla tree and from there, they make vanilla ice cream to serve its customers.
Freshly Made Vanilla Ice Cream From Amani Vanilla, Pahang
Let’s all admit that with the scorching weather in Malaysia, ice cream is the most irresistible dessert for most of us. Whenever we hear the word ice-cream, the little kid in us is already jumping up for joy. Before there were different renditions of ice cream, the original flavour dates back to Vanilla. As there are always two sides to a coin, so there are some of us who aren’t big fans of Vanilla ice cream as well.
But, if you’re a rare breed and Vanilla ice cream is indeed your thing, then this piece of news is for you. Amani Vanilla in Temerloh, Pahang is essentially a vanilla plant farm handled by former journalist, Mohamad Feisal Mohamad Norawi.
According to Feisal, he ventured into vanilla plantation because of its attractive revenue. Indeed, there aren’t many Vanilla producers in Malaysia compared to Indonesia and other countries. Did you guys know that there are only several Vanilla plantations in Malaysia? They are located in Sabah, Kedah, and Pahang.
Aside from planting and supplying fresh Vanilla beans to French restaurants in KL, Amani Vanilla also serves homemade Vanilla ice cream to its guests. Imagine savouring fresh, fragrant Vanilla ice cream made from scratch. It’s definitely an experience that we can hardly find anywhere else.
