TL;DR
- CMCO areas, including Selangor and KL no longer limits 4 pax per table for dine-ins
- But necessary social distancing of 1 meter apart is still in practice
- However, Sabah limits number of pax for dine-in to half of the table-size
Dine-In No Longer Limit 4 Pax Per Table At CMCO Areas
According to the latest Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) released by Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN), areas or states still undergoing CMCO will no longer have limit to the number of pax per table for dine-in. However, a social distancing of 1 meter between each dine-in customer will still be enforced.
As for Sabah, each table is only allowed to have half the total number of pax per table-size. That means a four-person table can only seat 2 people, a six-person table can only seat 3 people and so on.
Meanwhile, all eateries, food stalls, hawker stalls, supermarkets, shopping malls, retail outlets and convenience stores are allowed to operate from 6am till 12am midnight.
Previously, CMCO areas, including Selangor and KL had implemented a limit of 4 per table all throughout the CMCO.
Continue To Practice Social Distancing While Dining Out
Always remember to practice social distancing at all times and to have your face masks on while outside. Of course, the option of calling for delivery or takeaways are still very much encouraged for those in the CMCO areas. As always, stay safe and take care, peeps!
