Well, now there’s another reason to stand tall and be a proud Malaysian, as Tourism Malaysia’s 2020 travel video takes home silver at a prestigious award in the United States.
Malaysia Wins Hearts And Silver In International Award
The promotional video by Tourism Malaysia titled ‘Discover Breathtaking Malaysia 2020’ has won the silver award at The Telly Awards in New York. It was under the Travel/Tourism category for Non-Broadcast video. And to think that the video was picked among many other worldwide entries, how great is that!
The 4-minute video showcases the stunning wonders of Malaysia with well-known tourist attractions as well as hidden gems you’ve yet to uncover too. Besides, to further target the millennials, the video has even included suggestions for captions and hashtags on social media. This video literally covers everything you’ve grown up to be proud of in Malaysia. From its idyllic islands to mouthwatering delicacies, you’d miss travelling even more after watching this video.
The video was initially produced in line with Visit Malaysia 2020, which has since been cancelled due to the global pandemic. However, the message still stands. It does not take away the fact that Malaysia is blessed with both rich biodiversity and rich cultural diversity that has been an ideal destination for local and international tourists.
