We’re sure Emily’s Steakhouse is no stranger to avid steak lovers. It’s the kind of restaurant that comes to mind when we’re looking for a fancy meal. Known as one of the finest steakhouses in KL, they’ve recently relocated to a spacious location right here at Bukit Bintang. Now, let’s find out more about them.
Emily’s Steakhouse: Old Traditional English Steakhouse From Derby, UK
Emily’s Steakhouse was established in 2007 by a Penangite and her husband in Derby, United Kingdom, and has gone on to become the largest dedicated steakhouse. To describe her very first steakhouse, Emily uses 2 simple words, “home” and “hearty” as they serve the finest steaks using locally-sourced ingredients.
12 years later, Emily decided to expand her steakhouse to Malaysia, and being a Penangite, it was only fitting to establish it in her sunny hometown of Penang Island. In that same year, she expanded to Kuala Lumpur with its location tucked inside Sheraton Hotel. Now, they have relocated to the heart of KL over at Bukit Bintang with an expansion to its dining space filled with a classic British interior to provide diners a feel of dining in the UK. They also have one steakhouse over in Ipoh too.
Emily’s Steakhouse specializes in char-grilled steaks that are lightly seasoned to showcase the original taste of the meat just like how it’s commonly done in the United Kingdom. Salt & pepper are available for diners to add according to their tastebuds. Even British expats are regulars here who constantly praise Emily’s Steakhouse for serving dishes resembling the taste of their hometowns.
They’ve recently introduced dry-aged steak into their menu so if you’re a steak lover, be sure to drop by and give it a go.
Not only that, but they also serve an array of British staples such as fish & chips, bread and butter pudding, Grilled Lamb Rack, and more. If you’re having a mini gathering with your loved ones or looking to host an event, all 3 locations of Emily’s Steakhouse offer VIP rooms.
