With 2022 approaching in less than two months, there’s so much to anticipate in the upcoming year. Apart from overseas travel resuming, you can also expect more new and exciting restaurants and international chains opening in Malaysia. Rejoice, foodies! Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill is expected to open its first outlet outside of UK right here in Malaysia soon!
The First Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Outside Of UK Will Be Opening In M’sia Real Soon
It was teased early this year that the renown Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill was opening its first-ever international outlet in Sunway Resort, PJ. However, due to the pandemic, it was subsequently put on hold back in July. Now, it’s officially back on track and will be opening its doors in early 2022!
This will not only be the first location in Malaysia but also the first Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill outside of the UK. There are currently only three other outlets in London’s Mayfair, Chelsea and Park Walk. Of course, many Malaysians will be looking forward to taste the food by the multi-Michelin starred British chef and famous TV star.
While the specific menu for the Bar & Grill is still under wraps, here’s a sneak peek of how its stunning space will look like. Take a look at its grand dining room with its polished walnut flooring and semi-private seating booths. Also, there’s a stunning glittering cocktail bar with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of Sunway Lagoon!
Besides, there’s also a trio of private dining rooms for you to choose from for special occasions. There’s 8 Mayfair, 10 Soho and 12 Chelsea – all with distinct themes you can’t take your eyes off. One of the rooms even has its own private kitchen that shutters down (James Bond-style) after service for complete privacy!
According to an interview with Robb Report recently, Gordon Ramsay has teased a bit on what we can expect from its menu. Prime cuts that are locally sourced and dry-aged in-house will definitely be a signature and must-try here. Besides, classic dishes like Beef Wellington and local-inspired King Crab Laksa and Short Rib Rendang will be included in the menu too.
Can’t Wait To Try This When It Opens
The exact opening date of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill has yet to be announced but if all goes well, we might be able to add this to our must-try places in Petaling Jaya real soon. Spread the good news, foodies!
