Indeed, today is a very happy day! After months of closure, cinemas nationwide will be reopening again on 1st July 2020. As announced by Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob, cinemas, and theatres are allowed to operate soon with a maximum of 250 people. Of course, the social distancing rule of one meter still applies. Does that mean that couples are not allowed to hold hands while watching the movies? Correct!

Returning on 1st July, there are many long-awaited movies on the list. We are truly excited to watch Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula, Disney’s Mulan, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, Intruder, Kaiji Final Game, Unhinged, among others. It is safe to say, there is something for everyone! Worry about safety? It appears that GSCinemas will be posting about its official SOP before the opening!
