A piping hot bowl of noodles drenched in thick and rich soup is what we all crave, no matter what day and time it is. Rejoice, ramen lovers! There’s a brand new ramen spot in town and it’s already creating a buzz with its delicious ramens and unforgettable flavours.
New Ramen Spot In Mont Kiara That’s Already Getting Hype From The Locals
Located inside 1 Mont Kiara mall, Ken Shin-Ryu Ramen is the newest kid on the block for serving up mean bowls of delectable ramens. Helmed by head chef Kita Koichi, with 10 years of experience in a ramen shop in Tokyo before coming over to Malaysia. You may be able to recognise his skills and expertise at their sister shop, Maruki Ramen (a great muslim-friendly ramen spot in KL).
Over here at Ken Shin-Ryu Ramen, almost everything is handmade from scratch by Chef Kita. It’s worth noting that its ramen noodles are made using Japan imported flour, pure filtered water and fresh eggs only! Producing the springiest and smoothest ramen noodles like nowhere you’ve ever tasted. Not to mention, they also serve melt-in-your-mouth layered chashao made from premium Sakura pork and the freshest organic Kenkori egg.

Clear Soup Shoyu Ramen
A definite must-try and signature is the Clear Soup Shoyu Ramen. Rich broth made from Kampung chicken and premium pork. Even though this is a clear soup base, but don’t get fooled by it because it still packs a punch when it comes to flavours! It also comes with signature Chashao, juicy dumplings and smooth melt-in-your-mouth chicken breast.
Tonkotsu Ramen
If you’re a ramen lover, then tonkotsu is not to be missed whenever you have the chance. And over here, they really do the tonkotsu with justice. Cooked at optimal high temperature of 130°C, the tonkotsu broth is slowly boiled to perfection with fresh pork knuckle, back ribs, feet and chicken bones. Pick from your favourites of Shoyu, Shio, Kuro (black garlic) or Aka (spicy).
Shio Tsukemen
Next up, they’ve got slightly lighter options for those who love Tsukemen. The Shio Tsukemen has signature wheat noodles served with separate salt-based clear soup and toppings. Adding that slice of lemon truly transforms the entire dish to a summer dish, where the flavours are light and refreshing, but still full of flavours!
Dons & Gyoza
Besides that, they’ve also got a selection of amazing Japanese Dons and side dishes to fulfil your cravings. Their Oyako Don really exceeded the expectation one has towards noodle shops serving rice dishes – it’s that good! Don’t miss out on their handmade Japanese pan-fried dumplings too for that extra satisfaction.
