During his press conference earlier today, Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri announced that live performances in CMCO and RMCO states are allowed. This includes live band music, concerts, theatre, stand-up comedy, dancing and musicals, as long as performers keep a physical distance of 2m between each other.
Audience Allowed To Sit For Live Performances With These SOPs
Yes, audiences are allowed to witness these performances, but with strict SOP. In CMCO states, 50% audience capacity only allowed (if 1,000 seats available only 500 will be used). This rule doesn’t apply to RCMO states, but social distancing rules will still apply.
The states under RMCO now are Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Perlis, Sabah, Putrajaya & Labuan and Langkawi (Kedah).
