Petai, also known as bitter beans, is a favourite among many Malaysians. It is commonly an ingredient in sambal tumis udang. It is heavenly when it is mixed with some fluffy rice. Sure, most of us have eaten petai in a savoury form. However, we are almost certain that none of us have tried Petai Ice-Cream before. What happens when petai is used as an ingredient to make something sweet?
