This is definitely a sad farewell for all their regulars as it is the go-to spot for many customers to indulge in homey flavours of Malaysian cuisine. Many netizens have even commented on how it was truly a sad news, mostly reminiscing on their favourite dish from Mum’s Place and how they have been frequenting the place for the past decade even!

What draws in the crowd to Mum’s Place is no doubt its authentic and homey Nyonya cuisine. Their menu comprises a blend of Malay, Portuguese, Chinese, Indian and of course Nyonya dishes. Almost everyone who has been there raves about their Chili Padi Cencaru Fish with Petai, Portuguese Devil Chicken Curry and sotong masak lemak. But honestly, everything here just hits the spot.
