Indeed, it has been an eventful two months with Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day celebrations. Even so, March inches closer and there is an exciting event happening! Are you ready for a once in a lifetime experience? Because the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is back for its 11th year this March 2020!

This Year’s MyBalloonFiesta Will Feature 25 Hot Air Balloons To Celebrate Putrajaya’s 25th Anniversary

Happening from 19th to 22nd March 2020, this year’s fiesta will showcase 25 hot air balloons of different shapes and colors. The 25th anniversary commemorates Putrajaya’s jubilee celebration of being the country’s administrative capital. It will be a sight to behold as 25 beautiful hot air balloons take the skies on the first morning of the fiesta!

As the fiesta returns for its 11th year, this year is going to be extra because there will be more hot air balloons than ever before! Visitors can look forward to seeing hot air balloons from 10 different countries. Some countries include, USA, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Taiwan, Brazil, and more! Are you excited yet? We bet you are!

Now, this experience wouldn’t be complete if you didn’t actually get on one of these hot air balloons. Here’s the good news: you can! Yes, the entrance to the fiesta is free but there are a variety of special access tickets that you can purchase. Read the details below for more info!

MyBalloonFiesta Ticket Types

  • Launching Field Access: Get up close with the balloons by purchasing access into the balloon zone! Watch the pilots set up and inflate, and learn the details of handling a hot air balloon.
  • Night Glow Access: Night Glow Show is when all the balloons are inflated and lit up following the beat of the music.
  • Tethered Balloon Ride: Enjoy the experience to be lifted off from the ground up to 60 ft high between 5 – 7 minutes.

Enjoy Delicious Food & Drinks At The Love Food Festival With Over 30 Food Trucks To Choose From

The sky is blue and it’s a sunny day. You are lounging on the grass and witnessing these beautiful balloons fill the skies. It’s perfect but, what could be missing? Well, we have the answer – food! Fret not, because the Love Food Festival will coincide with the MyBalloonFiesta from 10am to 12am! Food alert: street food galore!

Where there is food, there is always someone who’s hungry. If food festivals are your thing, well head on to Precinct 2 to enjoy some delicious street food. There will be plenty of food truck vendors so you’ll be spoilt for choice. Famous food include: Pau Pak Ngah, Nachoslah, Kulacakes, Hauslah!, and so many more.
