Resorts World Genting Officially Announces That It Will Remain Closed Until Further Notice

Hello, friends! Few days ago, it was announced that we are finally moving towards Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). From the period beginning from 10th June to 31st August 2020, the rules and regulations have changed. Some of the changes include the opening of barber shops and hair salons, the operations of morning markets and night markets, and cafes and restaurants to open until 12:00 a.m.!

Resort World Genting Remains Closed

Last week, there was news circulating that one of the entertainment hot spots in Malaysia, Resorts World Genting, will continue its operations on 10th June 2020. Unfortunately, this piece of news isn’t true. Officially announced by Resorts World Genting themselves via the official website and social media platforms, the city of entertainment remains closed until further notice.

Based on the press release, it was stated that Resorts World Genting, Resorts World Awana, Resorts World Kijal, and Resorts World Langkawi will not be opening on 10th June 2020. During this period, the management will “continue to monitor the situation and make the necessary announcements as more information becomes available”.

Despite the closure, the management mentioned that hygiene practices are being followed for their employees. Additionally, this will ensure that it will be a safe place for their guests when they are open in the future. We hope that the employees are safe and well during this period.
