Their Hot Dishes menu was a big hit amongst families and friends back then, it’s no wonder why they’ve decided to bring it back for good this time. What’s even better? Their newest addition to their menu – Mee Kolo!
Hot Dish Menu Is Back At Shiok Kopitiam
Established in 2009, Shiok Kopitiam is a locally-enthused coffee shop known for their incredible thirteen types of chicken chop, with several branches around Klang Valley. Their menu holds your general kopitiam faves, including various choices of nasi lemak, fantastic white coffee and more. Before the pandemic, their Hot Dish menu was a popular choice, and it’s finally making a comeback!
Diners can choose up to fifteen types of Hot Dish to go with rice. Each dish is meant to be shared between two people or more, family-style. From seafood, to meat, tofu and veggies, you can just about find anything that would suit your liking.
At reasonable prices, you can enjoy:
Seafood & Poultry
- Sambal udang or sotong – a timeless Malaysian fave. Perfectly cooked seafood with sweet, spicy sambal.
2. Sweet & sour fish or chicken – tender and moist with a crisp batter on the outside, yum!

3. Spring onion & ginger fish or chicken – a homely taste that has you longing for mum’s cooking.

Eggs & Tofu
- Tofu with minced chicken or seafood – generous portion that was both comforting and delicious.

2. Onion & chilli omelette / with seafood / with minced chicken – If you love omelettes, this one’s for you! Flavourful and fragrant (not to mention, huge)

Vegetables
Of course, vegetables are just as important too! You won’t want to miss out on their sumptuous veggie dishes that are yummy on their own too. Have your pick between kangkung sambal belacan, siew pak choy with garlic, cabbage with dried shrimp, or bean sprouts with salted fish!

Apart from their Hot Dishes, they’ve also added a new Mee Kolo dish to their general menu!
Using minced chicken as the protein and fishball too, this halal version of mee kolo is simply tasty with noodles so light and springy! You just have to try it if you’re a mee kolo fan.

From 15th January 2022, Seremban locals can enjoy all this shiok food too, especially their famous thirteen types of chicken chop! Shiok’s brand new outlet in Seremban will be the latest addition to their branches. With affordable yet flavoursome food, what’s not to love? Try something new this new year, at Shiok Kopitiam. You can currently find them in Bandar Utama, Serdang Raya and Bandar Kinrara.
