Tesco Introduces New ‘Order & Collect’ Service At Selected Stores
The second phase of MCO obligated the one-person-per-car rule and in addition to the 1-meter social distancing policy, we end up with long queues at the grocery stores. Of course, grocery shopping is a necessity and we’ll look for other options to stock up on our daily goods.
Previously, AEON launches their very own personal shopper and even drive-thru services for Malaysians at certain AEON outlets. But this time around, Tesco is keeping up by introducing the ‘Order& Collect’ service at all Tesco outlets nationwide.
How Does It Work?
Tesco launched this service a few days ago, with the aim of providing a convenient shopping experience to everyone. How it works is really simple, just follow these steps and you’ll get a hassle-free grocery shopping experience.
1: Place your order via Whatsapp (numbers differ according to Tesco outlets)
2: Provide your name and detailed list with quantity and weight (maximum of 25 items)
3: Your Personal Shopper will contact you if any item is unavailable
4: You’ll receive a barcode for payment once your order is complete
5: Use the barcode and proceed to checkout at payment counters
Terms & Conditions
- Order & Collect service is free of charge
- Only valid for order & collection on the same day
- Orders must be sent between 8 AM-4 PM, while stocks last only
- Do collect your grocery before 6 PM in-store, daily.
- Orders are only for essential items (groceries & fresh produce), limited to 25 items only.
