Weekly Food Guide: Top 5 New Things to Try in Klang Valley This Week

1. Soylab

A brainchild of Baixian Food Industries Sdn Bhd, a company producing and supplying quality soymilk since 2002, Soylab serves traditional soy desserts with a twist. Provenance is the thing here- they take the extra effort to source and select healthy and the finest non-GMO beans from all over the world. And their entire product range contained zero-preservatives & additives. Purists, rejoice.

2. OneZo Malaysia

The bubble tea culture has existed in the world for several years, but only a handful have survived the trend. Originated from Taiwan, OneZo is one of the boba chains which have never stop stealing the spotlight- they even had the honour of collaborating with NIKE, and invited the NBA Superstar, Kyrie Irving to visit their shop in Taiwan. Their tapioca pearls are made from scratch, and have that perfect and chewy texture, not too hard, but not soggy either. Definitely a great sweet tooth cure.

4. Tiger Sugar Malaysia

Have you ever notice the ‘tiger stripes’ formed when the dark brown sugar syrup blends with the thick milk in your boba cup? Well, that’s how Tiger Sugar got its name. Instead of having their menu complicated, they focus on perfecting each drink by bringing out the taste of every ingredient. Spoilt with choices? Try their brown sugar boba fresh milk with cream mousse, oddly satisfying as the cup was cold on top but warm at the bottom. For a major splurge, check out their signature Tiger Sugar tea.
