Bobas are made handmade daily from scratch.

There are many components in making a very good brown sugar and fresh milk combination. We are about to tell you Xing Fu Tang’s secrets. Almost everything in the Xing Fu Tang’s beverage is made from scratch, even the boba itself. We have visited the brand new outlet, and had the opportunity to see the entire process with our very own eyes!

Freshly made boba is the key ingredient. It is all started with mixing the right amount of tapioca starch and brown sugar.  That’s it, preservatives are not added. The blending machine stirs everything evenly to create chewy bobas. Before it goes into the machine to create tiny balls, the dough is flattened and cut manually to ensure that there are no uneven lumps! Talk about dedication and love!

Once it has been cooked, the fresh bobas will be poured into the huge frying pan that can be seen when you stepped into the outlet. To maintain a good texture, a designated boba expert will be constantly stirring the boba with brown sugar. The making of Brown Sugar Fresh Milk is such a fun sight, as you will be seeing the bobas being poured in, and brown sugar being rimmed evenly on the cup. What a dream.
