We are calling out all bubble tea lovers! One of the bubble tea brands in Malaysia, Xing Fu Tang, has finally opened another store in Uptown, Petaling Jaya. The brand new store opening marks the 22nd outlet in Malaysia. There is no sign of stopping ’cause there are still many people queueing for its addictive signature beverage, Brown Sugar Boba Milk.
Bobas are made handmade daily from scratch.
There are many components in making a very good brown sugar and fresh milk combination. We are about to tell you Xing Fu Tang’s secrets. Almost everything in the Xing Fu Tang’s beverage is made from scratch, even the boba itself. We have visited the brand new outlet, and had the opportunity to see the entire process with our very own eyes!
Freshly made boba is the key ingredient. It is all started with mixing the right amount of tapioca starch and brown sugar. That’s it, preservatives are not added. The blending machine stirs everything evenly to create chewy bobas. Before it goes into the machine to create tiny balls, the dough is flattened and cut manually to ensure that there are no uneven lumps! Talk about dedication and love!
Once it has been cooked, the fresh bobas will be poured into the huge frying pan that can be seen when you stepped into the outlet. To maintain a good texture, a designated boba expert will be constantly stirring the boba with brown sugar. The making of Brown Sugar Fresh Milk is such a fun sight, as you will be seeing the bobas being poured in, and brown sugar being rimmed evenly on the cup. What a dream.
New beverage, Damascus Rose Tea with Lemon Slices.
Sure, most people will always order Xing Fu Tang’s flagship product. But, the bubble tea brand has an extensive and impressive menu of other beverages. One of the most notable beverage is Mango Smoothie and Rabbit Panna Cotta. The cute beverage made headlines when Xing Fu Tang was introduced to Malaysians. Let’s not forget about Matcha Boba Milk, and Strawberry Boba Milk, too!
Xing Fu Tang is expanding its menu with the introduction on Damascus Rose Tea with Lemon Slices. The tea is freshly brewed upon order, and it is completed with a generous amount of lemon slices. So, if you’re looking for a light beverage to sip on, this is something that you will need to try. Although Xing Fu Tang is famous for its rounded-bottom packaging, it has now introduced new geometric cups too!
