If you were any where in the city yesterday, you’d know that a terrible rainstorm had engulfed the city too. This posted a great challenge for all Ramadan bazaar vendors too. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse for this local stall vendor in Wangsa Maju, KL.

In a short clip uploaded on Twitter by Bernama, it showed a yong tau foo stall being overturned by the strong rainstorm that hit the city yesterday. You could see the all the food already being thrown over onto the streets. Meanwhile, the stall vendors are seen fumbling to pick up the food from the ground whilst being soaked in the rain.

According to an interview with Sinar Harian, Fatin Amalina Zulkifli described the incident had happened around 5PM yesterday in just a blink of an eye, soon after she had just put the food out to sell. She said that her mother and sister had tried to pick up the fallen food from the ground as best as they could. The incident had caused them to suffer losses of RM800 as they had to throw all the food away and her stall tent was broken as well.
