The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden

An icon when it comes to casual dining, Harry Ramsden has been out there serving world-famous fish and chips since 1928 in the UK. Again, the exclusivity, one can enjoy authentic, lightly battered, lip-smacking fish and chips only at SkyAvenue Genting. Ps: Haddock and the cod are the two thumbs up from us. Also, did we mention Harry Ramsden is tucked in Highline Roof Top Market?

Palsaik Korean BBQ

If you’re a korean bbq lover, you might be familiar with this one. Palsaik is one of the better korean bbq chain in KL, and having one in Genting is a plus. Like grilling some serious, juicy meat under the cold weather where you get to throw a few drinks with your friends? Perfect. If we were to recommend some of the better things to eat at SkyAvenue, Palsaik is for sure on our list. What’s better is that they’re located at the outdoor alfresco area on the highest floor of SkyAvenue.

Motorino

Motorino promises to deliver authentic pizza experience straight out of Naples, Italy. While we couldn’t confirm the authenticity, one thing for sure, there’s only one Motorino in the whole Malaysia. The ambiance reminisces a vintage vibe coming straight out of a Hollywood movie. Their menu is pretty straightforward, with appetizers, pizza and pasta. Stick to the classic when it comes to pizza, which is their pepperoni, the best. Motorino even offer delivery to your hotel room, the best.

Tampopo Delicieux

Voted as the Best Japanese Restaurant in Singapore by the Asia One People’s Choice Awards 2016, Tampopo has got to be one of the things to eat at SkyAvenue Genting. Though menu might be limited as compared to other Japanese restaurants, try out their chicken-based ramen and chicken katsu. You’re right, judging from all the “chicken” mentioned, Tampopo is a pork-free restaurant, so everyone could have a fair chance of trying this place out. Don’t forget to save up some space for desserts, their pastries are so presentable!

LeNu Chef Wai’s Noodle Bar

Cr: @pennpal02

Who’s up for a bowl of piping hot noodle to warm your body under the breezy weather? Located side-by-side to two other comforting Chinese food chain, LeNu takes pride in their traditional Chinese noodle. The Braised Wagyu Beef Noodle is one of the most notable dishes in the menu. Available in limited quantity and time, you don’t want to miss this out. Expect springy noodles simmered in clean and rich broth, topped with generous amount of tender wagyu beef. In our humble opinion, LeNu is simply one of the best things to eat at SkyAvenue Genting in terms of comfort food, and they’re pretty underrated.

Malaysian Food Street

Your Malaysia trip is not complete without local food. Who says you can’t get char koay teow and bak kut teh up on a hill? Featuring about 20 established hawkers from across Malaysia, it’s a true celebration for local flavors. Though we must say prices are a little steep, this is the only place to get your local cravings fixed.  Note: They use a cashless system, so head over to the counter, purchase a card of your desired amount, and start hunting for food.

Burger & Lobster

Cr: @honeyflowerr

Saving the best for the last, we bet by now everyone knows about Burger & Lobster. Originated from London, there’s only one in the whole Malaysia. Exclusivity comes with a price, but definitely worth it in exchange of its prime dining and service. Menu is pretty straight forward, and most people come for their lobster rolls. Burger & Lobster is no doubt one of the better things to eat at SkyAvenue Genting, though they’re not the most kid-friendly (menu wise).
