A rather new addition to TTDI that has just opened at the end of 2017 and it has certainly become a new favourite spot for TTDI folks. With simple decor and minimalistic colour scheme, their giant neon decor is hard to miss and it’s totally Instagram-worthy. This cafe combines the east and the west with its fusion menu such as Dak Bokkeum Bowl and their soft serves are something you shouldn’t afford to miss!

Dark and mysterious – Jack Rose is the perfect hideaway after a hectic day of work. Many may think this is a speakeasy bar but it is actually situated right at the underground basement of a building so it’s easier to find that you think 😉 And am I the only one who thought they named their bar after Titanic characters? (Okay, maybe it’s just me) If you’re a cocktail newbie like me, Jack Rose is actually a very popular cocktail in the 1920s and 1930s, so remember to opt for their signature drink!

Once you stepped inside, you’ll be greeted by a minimalistic vibe and a unique neon decor in the shape of the hand. Owner, Keith Koay is a Malaysia’s Champion Barista so coffee lover should definitely indulge a cuppa here because why not get a cup from the best?

With their staffs who are just as humorous as the eatery’s name, you’ll definitely be visiting SBC a lot more often.

Putting its own modern twist to Japanese ramen, the culinary team never disappoint when it comes to creative recipes. The only gripe is that it might be a little pricey but if you want to try out something new, definitely give this place a shot!

Joining the cafe scene recently, you are probably more familiar with the label Vintage 1988 as an accessories store. Nestled in Jalan Sultan, this quaint cafe specializes in both coffee and cakes. Inside, it has a mixture of retro and modern aesthetics which makes it Instagram worthy in every corner. If you’re on the hunt for a spot to get your work done, Vintage 1988 is a must go since it has a co-working space with plug points!
