Ever heard of Ada Coleman? Working for a total of 23 years, she was an exalted head bartender at the Savoy Hotel in London. “Hanky Panky” is a cocktail of her own invention, and is hence held as one of the speciality cocktails in Coley Cocktail Bar. Armed with experience and training, the bartenders promise to bring only the best potions to the table. They have one simple aim: to give their patron’s night a fun spin.

The Social, whilst first beginning in Bangsar, has vastly expanded its area of influence into other places in Klang Valley – Empire Shopping Gallery, Desa ParkCity, Publika, and TREC. Past twilight, many locals in Bangsar will tell you that this establishment is amongst their trusty late-night social spots. This place is praised for many things – their cold draft beer, cocktails, food, music, service, and even cleanliness! by @ suewenlooi (Instagram)

Are you ready to sample their Dragon’s Breath in a dimly lit night fogged with mystery? Anno Domini Bar (also known as AD Bar) is aptly named for the theme of which they thrive in. With the purpose of giving patrons a throwback to somewhere around the 15th century, this bar’s tavern-like interior design is complimented by the design of the cups of which hold their uniquely named cocktails.

I’m still waiting for the day to reply to “where do you want to eat?” with “Knowhere”. This restaurant and bar has received raved reviews online, with many singing commendations in writing for both their food and their cocktails. Mercat is as much known for its Spanish tapas as it is known for its gin and tonic. The more the merrier, as with larger groups of friends, you can try a little of everything that they have to offer there! Any you gin and tonic connoisseur, this place is also a must try (their Spanish Siderit and Seagram’s Gin are especially good)!
