Out of the 6,000, it has identified 20 tenant staff and 1 mall management staff as covid positive. Meanwhile, one security guard linked to 1 Utama has been tested positive. However, the guard had contracted it through a dormitory and not within the premises of the mall. All guards under the security company have since been removed for re-testing and to only re-deploy after cleared although all guards were all tested when they were first assigned.

In the meantime, the entire mall is undergoing a thorough deep cleaning and sanitising as the mall is closed for another 2 more weeks. Here’s to hoping that everyone will continue to stay vigilant as always and have your face mask on whenever you’re outside. As always, stay safe and remain calm.
