Ismail Sabri: RMCO Throughout The Entire Malaysia Extended To 31st March 2021

RMCO In Malaysia Officially Extends To End Of March

As announced by Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in today’s press conference, the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) throughout the entire Malaysia has been extended to 31st March 2021.

The RMCO nationwide was scheduled to end 31st December 2020. Meanwhile, for Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Sabah and other districts/localities that are still undergoing Conditional MCO (CMCO) will continue on as for another two weeks as announced on Monday. And localities placed under Enhanced MCO (EMCO) will continue as per usual.

Ismail Sabri mentioned that according to the risk assessments held by the Health Ministry, the cases are still increasing significantly. In another note, the Health Ministry revealed that the first day of 2021 has seen a total of 2,068 new Covid-19 cases in Malaysia, accumulating to a total of 115,078  confirmed cases.
