Therefore, building their own Smart Farms was the logical thing to do as they are able to harvest various vegetables in a safe, pesticide-free environment while keeping the prices affordable!
Smart Farms
Dr. Safuan, the Head of Research & Development, is in charge of the overall farm operations and shared key information regarding their unique smart farms. Firstly, the planted crops are 100% pesticide-free, in a farm that is enclosed and strictly controlled by the team. This means no outdoor pests and diseases! It’s also supported by an Internet of Things (IoT) system that has an array of senses pertaining to the crops.
Their smart farms are built to hold hydroponic systems, where the vegetables are planted in water instead of soil. By using this technique, they are able to have more precision in their methods to control the conditions for plant growth. There are currently a total of nine (9) types of crops: butterhead, red oak, green & red coral, baby spinach, with local varieties like Bok Choy as well as coriander, mint and celery leaves.
Moreover, JustGood’s trucks and storage facilities in Batu Caves are chilled at an optimum temperature to ensure freshness! Their concept for traceability covers not only from the production’s point of view, but also from that of the consumer’s.
Their produce can be purchased from their grocer, where you can scan a QR code that reveals the relevant information on how that particular crop was cultivated, and how it reaches your plate.
Muskmelons (Amber & Jade)
In addition to their farmed vegetables, they’ve recently began growing premium muskmelons too! They import muskmelon seeds from Japan and cultivate them in their greenhouse right here in Malaysia.
The farmers hand-pollinate the muskmelons, ensuring the best fruit quality and yield. Every bite is juicy and bursts with sweet, velvety goodness!
Ready-To-Eat Meals
From there, JustGood has a kitchen that prepares all the meals, right to the consumer’s doorstep. Literally, from farm-to-fork, as they work with Chef Malcolm Goh to curate interesting ready-to-eat & cook meals with vegetables sourced from their farm.

With fresh lettuce, spinach, tomatoes & egg
2. Mushroom Fajitas
Stir-fried caramelised mushrooms on a hotplate with a side of fresh rocket & charred tortillas
3. Smoked Duck Spaghetti
With fresh baby spinach
4. Silken Tofu Rice
A healthy vegan option with fresh Bok Choy
5. Tomato Wheat Noodles
A hearty & scrumptious vegetarian dish
6. Linguine Aglio Olio With Prawns
With fresh prawns, tomatoes and rocket
