Kwo Zha B is a family-run coffee business that has been operating for over 50 years. It is a humble third-generation store in Tanjung Sepat, Selangor. The business is currently run by 46-year-old Lim Chee Keong, who inherited the skill of coffee roasting from his father, Ah Kok, and his grandfather, Kip Seng. Their family continues to roast coffee the old-fashioned way, still keeping their traditional methods in tact until now.
Hand-Roasted Coffee Using A Traditional Method
They specialise in making traditional, hand-roasted coffee beans and their beans are locally sourced too. They get it from a Liberica coffee bean plantation. Their coffee beans are 100% organic, with no artificial flavour or preservatives. Kwo Zha B’s bestselling flavours include their signature product: Black Coffee and White Coffee.
Traditional, Authentic & Striving To Keep Their Heritage Alive
Their coffee beans are roasted to perfection daily and the black coffee has a distinct flora aroma with a Hainanese taste. On the other hand, their white coffee has a more nutty flavour with pronounced smokiness and bitterness. Kwo Zha B also does not add any sugar, margarine or salt when making their coffee.
