4. Ken Shin-Ryu Ramen

Headed by a Japanese chef with 10 years of experience in a ramen shop in Tokyo before coming over to Malaysia, Ken Shin-Ryu Ramen is where you can get a taste of authentic Japanese Ramen in KL. With noodles that are made using Japan-imported flour, pure filtered water and fresh eggs only, this is where you go for one of the springiest and smoothest ramen noodles in town! They also serve layered char siu made from premium Sakura pork and the freshest organic Kenkori eggs.

One of our favourite ramen spots in KL, Ichikakuya serves Yokohama’s iekei ramen, made with pork bone broth and comes with a choice of shoyu (soy sauce) or shio (salt). You can also customise the firmness of the noodles, from strong to normal, and add chicken oil for more aroma, from extra to less as you please!
