Here’s How To Simply Turn Your Nescafe 3-In-1 Mix Into A Coffee Swiss Roll

Hello, our fellow foodies! It’s that time of the day when you start to get a little tired and exhausted. For many of us, the first thing that comes to mind is a cup of aromatic coffee. While there have been creative recipes like Dalgona Coffee floating online, here is something we spotted that is going to step up your coffee game. Ready? In just 7 steps, you can now turn an instant Nescafe 3 in 1 packet into a fluffy coffee swiss roll!

Simply Turn Your Nescafe 3 -In-1 Mix To Make A Coffee Swiss Roll

For many of us who are working or studying, there isn’t anything that a cup of coffee can’t solve. While a cup of instant coffee in the afternoon is a great way to keep you feeling refreshed, it may be a little boring. Especially if you’ve been drinking the same thing for the past month. But fret not, today we will be sharing a fun recipe to twist your instant Nescafe 3 in 1 into a coffee swiss roll! Shall we get started with the ingredients?

Ingredients A

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 50g water
  • 30g corn oil
  • 70g cake flour
  • 1.5 packet of 3-in-1 coffee mix

Ingredients B

  • 3 egg whites
  • 40g fine sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients in A together and put aside.

Step 2: In a separate bowl, slightly beat the egg whites and cream of tartar. Once little bubbles form, add 1/3 of fine sugar and continue to beat. Add in the remaining sugar and beat until stiff peak forms.

Step 3: Add 1/3 of the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture and gently fold it together. Pour in the remaining egg white mixture and continue to mix until fully corporated.

Step 4: Prepare a baking pan and line with a baking paper. Pour the batter onto the baking paper and spread out the batter evenly.

Step 5: Carefully place the baking pan into the oven and bake at 160°C for 20 minutes.

Step 6: Remove the baking pan from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Then, slowly peel away the baking paper from the cake.

Step 7: Prepare a new baking paper and place the cake on the baking paper. Start rolling the cake from one end to the other. Keep it rolled up until it comes to room temperature.

Easy and doesn’t leave a huge mess, you’ll be more surprised that this recipe only takes 30 minutes to complete! Moreover, it’s up to you to make this a simple Swiss Roll or a fancy one. If your nodding to the latter one, here’s what you can do. Before rolling the swiss roll, dissolve some coffee mix and whip up some whipped cream. Then spread it on the cake and roll. Now you have a Coffee Swiss Roll with fillings!
