Asia: Palestinian Kunafa

Starting off with the Asian continent, dessert lovers must-try their Kunafa (or some may call it, Kanafeh) because it is absolutely delicious! This dessert is basically layers of crunchy pastry filled with mozzarella cheese and cream. And that’s not even the best bit – it’s drizzled with orange blossom syrup and sprinkled with crushed pistachios! You can choose to have this dessert with or without ice cream too. Yum!

Europe: Swedish Almond Cake

Possibly the cake of your dreams, their Swedish Almond Cake is soft, moist, and deliciously pleasant to eat. This slice of cake is a perfect tea time snack when you pair it with coffee or tea. It is light and we’re certain that you’ll be going back for bite after bite!

Africa: South African Cinnamon Milk Tart

Believe us when we say that you will not find this dessert anywhere else and because of that, you’re going to want a bite of this. Their South African Cinnamon Milk Tart is sweet-smelling and full of milky flavours. The custardy texture of the tart leaves a sweet trail of milky flavours on your palette and it’s so delightful!

South America: Tres Leches Cake

Drawing inspiration from the South American continent, their Tres Leches Cake is a traditional Mexican dry sponge cake soaked in three (3) types of milk! Pairing it with freshly cut summer fruits, this dessert feels very homemade and it tastes so comforting. It is another dessert perfect for sharing during tea time!

Kuih Lopes Tres Leches w/ Ice Cream & Pandan Burnt Cheesecake w/ Gula Apong
